*Nomadic sheep in the high Himalaya are unlikely to qualify for organic status due to the way organic status is granted. However as there have never been crops grown or many people living this high up, there has never been a need to pollute the land.
All our colours are sheep permitting, and occasionally you may need to wait a little longer for your colour than usual (we’ll let you know if your colour has suddenly become rare).
We don’t hold stock, as we wouldn't want sheep to be sheared in vain. Your rug will be started when you order it and will take about as long as a Laura Ashley bed takes to deliver (about 70 days). This includes everything from sorting and washing the wool, weaving, finishing and sending the rug. If there are delays, due to monsoons for example, we'll let you know. We'll keep you up to date with progress along the way.
We decided to use paypal because they offer buyers great protection. However feel free to use your credit or debit card if you don’t care for paypal protection. Terms and conditions.
We'll be adding some patterned rugs soon...
